10 years Anniversary
On July 13, we'll celebrate the 10 years of our company. We may do something special so stay tuned ! Something's cooking.
Like so many things in Life, sometimes you just need to do what your inner voice tells you to without overthinking. That's how Soulm8music was born 10 years ago in July 2007.
It started with In Between, Frederic Turyan's band. His very good friend Denis created a myspace profile in march 2007 and shared 4 tunes from the debut album "A Songwriter's Odyssey". The band reached 30k plays in 4 months and lots of people from many countries around the world wanted to purchase the record. The idea to start his own record label came at that very moment.
"I cannot believe we're still around, 10 years after founding Soulm8music. It's really exciting to choose where you wanna go and to face challenges, that come your way, is very instructive."
Needless to say there were no plans really. The dream was to be able to grow professionally and to create more music with other passionate people that would be on the way. Lucky us, that's exactly what happened !
Over the last 10 years, In Between that became In Between The Band has performed as support act for great artists such as Garland Jeffreys, Steve Miller Band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds or JJ Grey & Mofro. Videos on their YouTube channel have been viewed more than 115K times, other artists were signed and we're currently working on taking it to the next level. The next 10 years will be phenomenal !
